The Owens Valley Committee has invited John Walton to speak on his book, Western Times and Water Wars, one of the key titles available regarding our water history here in the Owens Valley. We'll be on hand selling books, and OVC will receive a percentage of sales from books purchased at the event.
This event is a fundraiser for OVC, so they will be asking for a donation at the door. There will also be a silent auction/raffle, and drinks and hors d'oevres!
This looks to be both a fun and educational evening and we thank OVC for inviting us to participate. If you'd like to learn a little more about our water history, be sure to save the date!
